As Trump prepares to enter the White House, the war in Ukraine has escalated. US and British long-range missiles have been fired into Russian territory with the permission of President Biden and Prime Minister Starmer. Russia has lowered its threshold for nuclear use to be able to respond to such attacks and has launched a new ballistic missile against Ukraine. CND has condemned British and US actions, warning that nuclear-armed NATO could be drawn into a confrontation with Russia. 

As this unfolds, London CND warmly invites you to a discussion to get to grips with the escalation, which, in the past few weeks, has increased the risk of nuclear confrontation. The event will take place on Zoom in a meeting format so that everyone can ask questions and put their point of view across.
